Programme jour par jour

Day 1 - Arrive in Venice

Arrive at Venice Airport and take a regular bus transfer to your hotel in Venice-Mestre or Piazzale Roma. Taxi transfers are also available (optional, to be booked at the time of reservation).
 
Check in at your hotel.

Day 2 : Walk in San Marco, Dorsoduro and the "Sestieri" of the South

From the hotel, you head to the San Marco district, the historic heart of Venice.
You discover the Bridge of Sighs, the Fenice Theater, and Piazza San Marco, where St. Mark's Basilica, the Campanile, and the Clock Tower stand.
After a vaporetto transfer to the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, you will explore its Palladian church, then head to the island of Giudecca for a breathtaking view of the city.
 
In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the artistic district of Dorsoduro. Stroll through galleries and peaceful alleys and admire the Chiesa della Salute, a Baroque masterpiece, as well as the Punta della Dogana, the meeting point of the Venetian canals.

Day 3 : Walk Lido island, Chioggia and Pellestrina island

Today, hop on a vaporetto to the island of Lido, famous for hosting the Venice Biennale and the prestigious film festival.
After a transfer by bus and boat, head to the town of Chioggia, nicknamed “Little Venice” for its canals and picturesque charm.
Then cross over to the island of Pellestrina, a narrow 11-kilometer lagoon strip between the Adriatic Sea and the lagoon. Explore its authentic fishing villages, lined with colorful houses.

Day 4 : Walk Torcello and Burano islands

You begin your day on the island of Torcello, the historic birthplace of Venice. Inhabited since the 5th century, this peaceful place steeped in history was one of the first settlements in the lagoon before its inhabitants migrated to Venice.
 
As soon as you arrive, you will feel the calm and ancient atmosphere. Don't miss the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, a true Byzantine treasure with its fascinating mosaics and majestic bell tower, testifying to the island's prestige at its peak.
Continue onto Burano, the island of lace and bright colors. This miniature gem, with its leaning bell tower, picturesque canals, and bridges, is a living painting. Here, the contrast is truly striking: rugged fishermen on one side and meticulous lace makers on the other, combining tradition and craftsmanship in unique harmony.

Day 5 : Walk Castello and the Murano and Sant'Erasmo islands

Hop on a boat and head to Castello, a well-kept neighborhood that's not too touristy. Check out the San Zaccaria church, famous for its mix of Gothic and Renaissance styles, before heading up to the majestic San Francesco della Vigna, an iconic work designed by Palladio.

Continue on to the historic Arsenal district, once the maritime and military heart of Venice. There, you will admire the imposing Lions of the Gate of Honor, true symbols of maritime power and grandeur.
 
You will then cross over to the island of Murano, renowned worldwide for its unique art of glass blowing. Once there, if you wish, you can watch a fascinating glassblowing demonstration and explore the Glass Museum (additional fee).
 
You will end the day with a trip to the green island of Sant'Erasmo, nicknamed the Garden of Venice for its fertile land and peaceful atmosphere.

Day 6 : Walk Sestiere de Cannaregio

Today's itinerary includes a tour of the historic Cannaregio district. Created in 1516, it is home to the very first “European ghetto.” Stroll through its peaceful streets, along charming canals lined with colorful houses, and discover hidden treasures such as the splendid Chiesa della Madonna dell'Orto.
