40 years of history ... with you !
With over 40 years' experience under its belt, La Vie Sauvage has become THE specialist in organizing hiking tours in the Alps, as well as a benchmark for organizing holidays in France and Italy.
Our travel agency specializing in hiking holidays is based in Chateau-Ville-Vieille, in the Queyras Regional Park, a famous massif in the French Alps.

Quality & authenticity
We create our trips the way we like to do them, choosing rich and unique itineraries, with quality accommodations selected for their hospitality, location and food. Our trips are the result of many years' experience in finding gems, making each experience unforgettable.
Customer satisfaction is our driving force. After each trip, you can leave a comment, which we read carefully. Your word-of-mouth, your advice and your opinions are invaluable, and we thank you, because thanks to you, more and more backpackers are putting their trust in us!

A social & environmental commitment
We know you're sensitive to the environmental impact of our business, and we are too! Being in the field allows us to see and adjust our stays year after year, so that we can considerably improve our footprint on our beautiful natural surroundings.
Being socially and environmentally responsible means cutting out the middleman when we buy products, keeping plastic packaging to a minimum in the picnics we offer, and paying our guides and the accommodation we work with a fair wage.

Local agency on a human scale & independent
We're a small company, and proud to be ! We value every person who contacts us, and by talking to our team about your next trip, you're guaranteed a personalized service. By choosing our trips, you avoid intermediaries by using a “direct” approach, giving you more precise information and the same contact person before, during and after your trip.
La Vie Sauvage makes a point of being an independent agency, which allows us to be free in our choice of itineraries and prices. We have chosen to offer a small range of destinations, which gives us in-depth knowledge and recognized expertise.
Our field team
Our team of guides and instructors is made up of people who are native to or have in-depth knowledges of the destination they will help you discover.
