Unlike a self-guided tour, a guided walking holiday takes place on predefined dates, which you cannot change. The other major difference is that a guide will be with you for the entire trip, showing you the way, sharing his knowledge of the flora and fauna and, above all, the culture of the region. It's all organized, so all you have to do is put on your boots and start hiking! The final difference is that you won't be alone. You'll be sharing your holiday with a group, often made up of a minimum of 5 people and a maximum of 15.

A 30% deposit is requested at booking confirmation. The balance is due 1 month before departure.

If you book less than one month before departure, you will be asked to pay the full amount in one go.

What's special about a self-guided holiday is that it plunges you into the heart of a genuine experience! It takes place without a guide, on your own, as a couple or even with friends, on the departure dates of your choice. If you sleep in a B&B/dormitory, you'll need to bring a thin sheet and a towel in your bag as well as your belongings.

Pillows and blankets are provided by the accommodation.

For those who don't want to take baggage transportation, we recommend choosing a microfiber towel. It's very light, takes up little space and dries quickly.

In our hotel formula, you don't need anything, everything is provided.

In the event of cancellation of your trip, we offer a refund that includes charges depending on the date you cancel:

- More than 60 days before departure:

15% of total BI

- From 60 to 31 days before departure:

20% of total BI

- From 30 to 21 days before departure:

35% of total BI

- From 20 to 14 days before departure:

50% of total BI

- From 13 to 7 days before departure:

70% of the total BI

- From 6 to 3 days before departure:

90% of the total BI

- Less than 2 days before departure:

100% of the total BI

In addition, La Vie Sauvage offers external insurance, including cancellation insurance, which is invoiced at 3.6% of the total price of the trip.

Yes, you can book the transport package after you have registered and up to 1 week before the departure date. Please note, however, that the number of places is limited according to the remaining places in the minibus.

Assessing your level of Nordic and Alpine ski touring is essential to progress in these sports and to ensure your safety when out in the field. These two sports have different requirements and techniques. Depending on your skills, you may be more suited to one activity than the other.

If your bank provides insurance with your credit card, all you have to do is pay for your holiday with your card to activate it. However, be careful not to pay by bank transfer or cheque, as it will not be accepted.
