Starting directly from your hotel, Lake Sorapis is arguably one of the most beautiful spots in the Dolomites. You’ll be speechless before the turquoise-blue waters of this lake, perched at 1,900 meters. This well-known excursion destination is especially popular in summer when temperatures rise.
With its pastel-blue waters, white rocky cliffs, and gentle alpine meadows in the background, Lake Sorapis is truly magical. Here, you can let your mind wander and, surrounded by the mighty Dolomites, forget the stress and fast pace of everyday life for a while.

Day 3 : Hike to Lagazuoi peak
An extraordinary day awaits you today-a journey back several decades along the paths of the resistance fighters…
Starting from Passo Falzarego, Lagazuoi Peak will be your destination! The ascent through the famous tunnels is the highlight of the day-not for its difficulty, but for discovering the incredible effort that went into carving these kilometers of galleries. A headlamp will be essential.
Little Lagazuoi (2,778 m) was fiercely contested during the Dolomite War. Austrian and Italian troops engaged in intense mine warfare, creating the numerous tunnels and positions that still cross and crown the mountain today. A narrow, sometimes steep trail with many steps leads up to a wide rocky terrace where the Chiesa bivouac once stood.
A spectacular loop hike with breathtaking panoramas!

Day 4 : Hike to the Tre Cime
These three peaks rise to 2,857 m (Cima Piccola), 2,973 m (Cima Ovest), and 2,999 m (Cima Grande, the central peak)-three colossal stone giants dominating the landscape. Only once you’re there do you truly grasp the breathtaking scale of these mountains. You may have seen countless photos, but being there in person is an entirely different experience-a real wow moment!
La Vie Sauvage offers the full loop, less crowded than the classic route… Expect lunar-like landscapes, culminating in the postcard-perfect view of this iconic massif from the terrace of Rifugio Locatelli.
An unforgettable day!

Day 5 : Hike to the Cinque Torri - Nuvolau peak
Curiously visible from Cortina… today we head to the Cinque Torri, five small “sisters” sculpted into improbable shapes! These five spires are yet another astonishing testament to the beauty of the Dolomites.
The trail to Cinque Torri leads you into a dreamlike world: paths lined with vibrant flowers, green meadows, and mist-wrapped trees create a soft, mysterious atmosphere. It’s hard to imagine that this area was once the site of fierce conflicts between Italian and Austro-Hungarian troops during World War I.
Via the wild Limedes Lake and Nuvolau Peak (2,574 m), you can admire the Cinque Torri from above… a true open-air museum. Wander through this historically rich massif, quietly observed by climbers clinging to the rock faces!
An easy loop hike best enjoyed in the cool freshness of the morning.

Day 6 : Last day - Fanes waterfalls
Your last beautiful half-day hike before hitting the road…
For those wishing to try a Via Ferrata, one of the trail variants offers an easy introduction to a few equipped sections.
This is one of the classic excursions from Cortina d’Ampezzo and the Belluno Dolomites, leading to the Fanes Waterfalls, where we recommend the spectacular walk beneath the cascades themselves. The scenic trail winds through deep canyons to the confluence of the Fanes, Travenanzes, and Ra Vales valleys north of Cortina.
These waterfalls are among the tallest and most impressive in the Dolomites.
